Meet the Bus Fleet

London Routemaster (x 2)

The Routemaster is the most iconic bus in the world, a symbol not only immediately recogniseable as London but of Britain, as symbolic as red telephone boxes, black taxis, Tower Bridge and the Houses of Parliament. Over 2760 of these buses were built for service in London between 1956 and 1968 and they enjoyed a long life in the capital until finally retired in 2005.

Routemasters have become the must have ingredient for wedding transport and we own two of the type, in great condition and they are the most popular vehicles in the fleet - so book early to avoid disappointment.

Lytham d/deck - 1946 vintage (56 seats)

Our No.19 is a classic Lytham St.Annes double deck bus from 1946. Built by "Leyland", this vehicle had quite a sedate life in Lytham St.Annes until it was finally retired from service in 1972 after 26 years of operation.

We tend to keep this bus to FY & PR post codes but if blue and white is your colour, we are happy to consider going further afield if required.

Lytham d/deck - 1964 vintage (64 seats)

If blue and white is your colour, and you live away from the FY & PR post code areas, then we can offer this other gem from the Lytham St.Annes fleet.

This 1964 bus is itself over 50-years old but is more suited to longer distance runs than its 1946-vintage older brother!

Blackpool - Green & Cream (71 seats)

Another classic bus in our collection is this 1967 vintage bus from Blackpool. In a tasteful green and cream livery, Blackpool 529 with its interior bulb lighting and two-tone green interior gives a period 1960s feel to your wedding.

1970s Ribble double deck (71 seats)

If you're looking for more of a 1970s flavour, then hire this 1972 classic Ribble "Bristol VR" bus. Ribble buses in their attractive cherry red colours once operated as far south as Liverpool and Manchester and as far north as the Lake District and Cumbria - all areas covered by our Classic buses.

Millenium Red London Bus (64 seats)

Hundreds of new red double decker buses flooded into London to replace the classic Routemasters at the turn of the century and to increase bus services in advance of the Congestion charge.

This 64-seat Dennis Trident in London red is available as a Routemaster substitute when an iconic red double decker needs to meet your requirements. This bus is wheelchair accessible.

1970s Ribble single deck (47 seats)

An ideal vehicle for smaller groups or access to more rural areas of the North West where low trees can create a problem for double deck buses is this 47-seat gem from the 1970s.

Back to the 70s - 86 seater Leyland Atlantean

Typical of the 1970s is this 86 seater Leyland Atlantean that operated for Blackpool. It is ideal for large groups with its high seating capacity.

1936 Leyland Lion (34 seats)

This gem from 1936 is set to roar back into life in 2016. This classic single deck seats just 34 and with a top speed of only 20 mph it will be available for hires in the Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Borough areas only.
